This existing house is is located on a great semi rural section in Tamahere, but what it was missing was outdoor living space.  We worked with the Clients to design a large canopy extension complete with outdoor fireplace, decking, retractable sun shades and large slider doors.  The result is a sheltered outdoor living space with can be enjoyed year round.

While we were at it, the house was extended 2metres to provide a more generous living space and increase the size of one of the bedrooms. A separate canopy was added to form a marked entrance to the house.  The result looks fantastic!
